Explore Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, including a visit to Nizwa. One of Oman's oldest cities, it was once a hub of commerce, religion, education, and art. Visit the fort and souq before moving on to Jebel Akhdar. A vast upland of primarily barren rock with only a few robust shrubs and trees, as well as the surrounding bare-sloped mountains. Go on a village walk.
The next day, return to Muscat and see Manah hamlet, Oman across Ages Museum, and Zukait Tomb.
